Ladies who use heating caps to DC

I just bought a Gold N Hot heating cap and I'm wondering, do you have to use the liner that comes with it on your head or can you simply just use any plastic conditioning cap in place of it? Thanks.

I've never used the heating cap liner, just plastic caps.

No idea where the liner is..I use a plastic cap with mine. Time for a new one..mine is cracking after 20 years!
