Since I can not partake in the joy of using the jojoba jelly since it is out of stock, you ladies MUST share your experiences with it. Come on dish it out!

I know huh? I ordered on Friday, the Curly Custard, it's supposed to mail today...I sure hope so.

In the mean time....bumping!!!

Okay, no experience with the jojoba jelly but I do have the curling custard.

Well, the consistency is kinda weird. I thought it would be heavier than it is. To me, it smells like a combination of grapefruit and the smell of an orange julius (I know I know). Anyway, it's definitely moisterizing and it does what it says it does. Shine and curl. But be careful, a little goes a lonnnnnnnnng way. I used to much and had a greasy gluey head.

BTW, I'm a 4a/b natural. HTH.

Thanks for following up! Got a few questions for you on this. I'm a 4a/b (I had it switches, I'm A in the back/sides and B in the top/front, texturized.

Anyway, Are you satisified w/the curl pattern/texture of your hair after applying the product? Would you buy it again and or recommend it to your closest of friends? Did you use any of the accompanying products or another conditioner as a leave in? (I feel like I'm doing an interview!).

I just wonder if the other products in the line are worth getting/waiting for.

TIA!

"Anyway, Are you satisified w/the curl pattern/texture of your hair after applying the product?"

I am satisfied with the curl pattern. It turned frizzy hair into little teeny tiny springy curly curls. But that was after I kinda went through and fingered to style. Didn't take too long though.

"Would you buy it again and or recommend it to your closest of friends?"

Hmm, I'm not sure if I'd buy it again. I'm newly naptural and still trying to find what works. I'm not sure if I like the consistency or the potential "gluey-ness" (if that's a word) of the product. If I had friends w/3 type hair, I would recommend.

"Did you use any of the accompanying products or another conditioner as a leave in? (I feel like I'm doing an interview!)."

I also purchased the Knot Today. I applied it to my hair while I was in the shower and my hair was dripping wet. I also gave immediate curl. Now this, I would probably purchase again w/o the custard. I'd just have to find a moisterizing agent that could be combined w/it, and not give me a white head for hours. It gave great slip (with my wide tooth comb) to my twa and wasn't greasy feeling.

Overall, I think the custard would benefit the 3's or all over 4a's. You only need a little bit.

The Curling Custard is the one that I'm most interested in. Overall, your post and the posts on NC.com from type 3C/4's are leaning me towards a purchase. :)

EDITED: The Curling Custard is available now, so I just ordered some and the sample of the Knot Today.

I've ordered Knot Today and Jojoba Jelly...Haven't tried the custard.
Excellent customer service, Shelley, the owner, is very nice.
I bought two containers of Jojoba Jelly at separate times; they were not uniform - of different consistencies. The first was looser and lighter than the second, which was thicker and more gel-like. (Can't really explain it.) Neither one does what it claims for MY hair, HOWEVER it worked great for my mother. (I have cottony hair in many places and the hair where I have tight spirals and loose curls were just overwhelmed by the weight of the product.)
Now, I love the Knot Today...very moisturizing on my very dry hair. It works the whole day through. I rub it in my hair after I shower at the gym and it smells so good to my fellow gym-goers that I think they might lick my hair.
