Ladies please help

Last week I decided to get a texturizer after being natural for a little over 1 year. It was horrible. Ladies I really need some help. Within the next week or so I have an interview scheduled and have no idea what to do with my hair? Here are the options that I was thinking:

-should I get it flat ironed and trim. If so, what do I do with the bald spot on the left side?
or
-should I just wear a scraf and leave it alone until the end of my 4 month stretch

The lady that did my hair assured me that she had done texturizers before and after answering my questions I felt okay with her doing my hair. I was wrong. The following are the pictures of the WORST hair experience I have ever had. The trim that I asked for and was told that I was getting was NOT a trim at all. On the left side, there is a 'bald' spot. Ladies I was butchered. I am so disappointed b/c I felt that I was getting the service I was told upon arriving at the salon. The was under/over processing throughout my head. The ends are see through, it that makes any sense. Ladies any advice you can share is greatly appreciated.

I'm sorry this happened to you. I was excited for you, now I am outraged by your experience. Couldn't you wear a twa? Have you tried a little gel in it? Does your hair coil up nicer now? How about a strawset? How long is your hair currently, I'm sure I can come up with some other ideas? Those bald spots (from the pic here) don't look so bad. I would think they would get lost amongst your coils with some brushing. If that embarrasses you, you could go with a scarf, it really depends upon the kind of interview (conservative vs. non-conservative environment). You could also go with a wig.

I'm sure the other ladies will have some great ideas for you!

thank ThursdayGirl for replying. I was thinking about going to the barber and getting a twa. Only thing is I had so amazing growth before this terrible ordeal and I hate to let all of that go....but if I have to I will. Currently, my hair is 2' long, the bald spot is much shorter(not even an inch is my guess).

I'm sorry to hear about this, tishee. The most important thing is getting you to a state where you will be comfortable in your job interview. I totally agree about putting some gel in your hair - it defines curls and will keep your hair closer to your scalp so your shorter spots will blend in. It will look really professional. And ITA-- your bald spots aren't really that noticable.

I'm sorry to hear about this, tishee. The most important thing is getting you to a state where you will be comfortable in your job interview. I totally agree about putting some gel in your hair - it defines curls and will keep your hair closer to your scalp so your shorter spots will blend in. It will look really professional. And ITA-- your bald spots aren't really that noticable.

I sure do know what that is like. I sure hope many repond to you. After 2 and a half years of being a natural, I decided to tex, because I thought it would be easier and my hair fell out at the crown area and they rest turned to straw. I ended up having to get my head shaved in Dec of last year It is growing back not a fast as I would like it, but its growing. Good luck.

I am soooo sorry this happened to you. I would probably blow it out and try to even it up myself. I don't notice the bald spots either. For the interview, if you don't want to cut it low, I would try a scarf or do a curly wash and go look. It's hard to see the length in the pic but rollersetting may give it a fuller look if the ends are thin. I wouldn't use high heat to straighten though because it may be fragile from the chemicals.
