If I knew what to put in the search engine I would but I what I would like to know is......This weekend I'm doing kinky twist in my daughter's hair, usually i leave the ends straight but I really don't like that. I know i can use the small sprial rollers but i don't have any. I thought i read somewhere you can use thread/string? can some clarify and point me in the right direction?

I did my daughter's hair in kinky twist, but I just burnt the ends and rolled them.
