Ladies help! Is this a normal amount of breakage?

I just finish taking out the braids I wore from Nov 5 until now, and this is the amount of breakage I got. I compared it to a quarter so that you can see the difference. It is a total of hair that I loss from braid removal, washing, and combing out afterwards. I loss more hair, but did not add it to the pile. I think that this is a lot of hair to lose, what do you think? Is there any way to stop this from happening? Any help would be appreciated, I really need y'all to come through for me.

Well to me it looks pretty average. It's not all breakage. I'm sure the majority of it is hair that would have shed naturally from Nov. 5 until now.

I would do an emergencee treatment to strengthen your hair and follow with a good moisturizing conditioner afterward. Noone here is immune to a little breakage. The key is to minimize it the best you can with gentle handling of your hair and good products to maintain moisture.

Yes, that looks likes a normal amount of hair to lose after seven [or so] weeks with braids. I also agree with the other member it is probably mostly hair that has shed rather than broken-off.
