Does anyone use this? I remember reading something about it from somewhere, that it's supposed to help make your hair straight... What is it exactly? A leave-in? Is it worth trying? Anyone have the ingredients?

Yeah I want to know I've heard that it leaves your hair really silky
smile.gif

I have it. I've used a few times and it just a regular cream leave in to me. It's smells lovely (like a baby - baby poweder, baby lotion... )....but on me it was just ok. It wasn't bad though....I would definitely use it again. Maybe a 4 out of 5?

I have a friend who used some of it once though and she was singing its praises. It's very similar to the Salerm cream leave in to me...but I like salerm better because it leave my hair shinier and softer....

I have so many products to review for the board - I'm behind....

Thanks TRacy... what color is the bottle ? I heard about this product over a year ago but I don't know what it looks like. BTW, I have the Salerm 21 Silk protien, I bought it thinking it was a deep conditioner so I used it as such. My results were very good, it is very very moisturizing and pretty good detangling. I will continue to use it as a deep conditioner. Have u tried it as a deep condtioner with heat b4? I guarantee u will like the ends results

Why noooo I haven't Brittneykins...thank you for the idea!

The Lacio Lacio bottle is white with a label that looks like it has some sort of a bootleg "by the sea" scene on it. It's not state of the art packaging. The bottle is mostly white.

Depending on how far from now the NYC meet is, maybe I'll just give you some to try if you can wait that long. If not tell me what you think as compared to the Salerm.

u know I figured that it would be bootleg looking. So when I go in the bss I look for something bootleg that says "Lacio Lacio" on it. I know that most Dominican products don't exactly have a "state of the art packaging"

Tracy, the Salerm 21 as deep conditioner is a MUST. I used it w/ heat for 15 minutes and I was talking to my hair in shower as it was rinsing out

. My hair's lost elasticity was finally restored in spite of numerous attempts to fix it. I made a review a few days ago when I first used it but I guess no one really cared to respond.

WHAT??? I never saw THAT thread....

Lost elasticity is precisely the problem I've been trying to correct! Gurrrllllll.....I gotta go find your post!

dont search too hard no one really responded, but hey for $8.99 u should try it. Nothing at all was working for my hair. I clarified to no avail, used all of my shampoos and conditioners and NOTHING at all worked. A friend of mine was pushing me to buy the Salerm but I never really payed it much attention. Anyway, I washed my hair as usual and skeptically applied the Salerm, when I rinsed my hair, I was in shock. I was able to comb out my hair while wet using my normal medium toothed comb (not the wide toothed) with no hair combing out at all. Also my hair felt sooo moisturized not just untangled.

i second brittneywhitley!
the salerm is awesome as a conditioner and a little goes a long way so the bottle lasts a long time.
i use it as a deep conditioner when i have lots of newgrowth and it combined with steam from the shower is like WHOA! the comb just falls through my hair.

WHAT! You broads have been using this stuff as a conditoner for a while and no one sounded the alarm?

Just kidding guys.

Thanks for the heads up.

smile.gif

Shirley I live in NYC and can find it at many bss. Luckily, u can get it @metrobeauty.com! Go on and give it a try as a deep conditioner, Im sure u will like it!

Ladies,
I want to try the Salerm. Is it a leave in? I'm getting braids next week and was wondering when I rinse my hair can I use this as a leave in on my new growth to keep it well moisturized. TIA for all replies

It's too light (Salerm) to keep my hair weighed down for a bun. But I think it would be good for a shake and go.
smile.gif

for me... the lacio lacio leaves my hair more light and the salerm gives me a sort of 'heavy' feeling that i dont like too much but overall they r both good products, i just prefer the lacio

Today, while the board was down for data maintenance, I was talking with Sassygirl125. She talked me into ordering Lacio Lacio and another product. Well, I HAD to order it, otherwise she was going to
