Some questions about Lacefronts:

1) Do they come in synthetic and human just like regular wigs or only human hair?
2) Can you buy them at the BSS or are they only available online?
3) How long can one be left on safely? And, how do you care for your hair underneath?
4) Can you swim with it on?

2) Can you buy them at the BSS or are they only available online? not sure of America but here Pak (www.pakcosmetic.co.uk carry them don't know how good it is though got mine from a girl here in London
3) How long can one be left on safely? And, how do you care for your hair underneath? I would say the same as a weave (net weave) I'd use Crown & glory - although I pin mine on and will now sew it on...
4) Can you swim with it on? Don't see why not as long as you use a chlorine treatment shampoo to make sure ur hair is still in good condition

1. Yes, they come in both HH and synthetic. You must be careful of vendors that try to mix synthetic with human...recipe for disaster.
2. The largest selection is online, but some BSS' do carry them and most charge a GRIP for them.
3. I take mine off daily, but some people wear there's like weaves (so for 4-6 weeks.) Underneath I would suggest braiding and keeping the hair moisturized. If keeping it on for a week or more, I'd use scalp protector.
4. Yes, but you want to make sure that you have really high quality hair or else it will matt up like a birds nest. Also make sure your application is tight.
