They come from something similar but the Glutamine has an amine group attached. Glut-amine NH3 or NH4

Gluthionine...hmmmm I wonder if it has sulfur, it may simply have some aminos attached. This is an Organic Chemistry question. (Darn it!)

What are the benefits of taking either of these?

My chemistry major friend says the second one is an amino acid and the first one is what is usually thought of as a "cure-all"(for detoxing, aches and pain etc).
