I've seen a lot of positive reviews from naturals and texlaxed members, the most that stuck out to me is @virturenow because I remember her issues with tangling and being stuck at a certain length and am impressed that they helped her . Also with EnExitStageLeft with her reviews making it sound like a miracle lol.

I am stuck at APL and have been for years and their products sound interesting, especially since they have helped virturenow. But I haven't seen any reviews from relaxed heads. Anyone have any experiences they could share?

I use to buy alot of stuff from Komaza. Don't buy as much from them as I use to.

Excellent Shipping, Great CS and you can accumulate points that go toward your purchases.

I found it worked well on Relaxed hair as Most of the Handmade/Naturals do.

Other than Relaxer, I tend to use only Handmade/Natural products with maybe 1 or 2 Salon brands sprinkled in there.

I still use the Scalp Butter and several items from the Califia Line. They had a really nice DC'er that got discontinued a while back.

They've changed alot of the names since I've used them, but yes, it is a nice, solid product line.

I'm Texlaxed and you already know how I feel about Komaza. They're a staple line for me and I absolutely STAN for the Califia Spray. I also love the califia leave in, aloe my hair leave in topped w/ with Aloe my hair moisturizing cream, Aloe My Hair Spritz and their Matani Leave In and Matani Spray. Their DC was a miss for me, but other then that everything else has been a hit.

xu93texas loves the line as well. She's relaxed and could give you some feedback.

Yes, I do love their line of products. I started using their products when I did the BC last year. Now that I'm relaxed again, I decided to stick with their products. If you check out the website, they do give recommendations specifically for relaxed hair.

What I have in my arsenal now is the Califia Moisturizing Spray, Matani Leave in conditioner, Aloe My Hair Moisturizing spray, and Aloe My Hair leave in. I love them all. I mix and match the liquid sprays and creamy leave in conditioners to moisturize and seal according to the LOC method. My faves are the moisturizing sprays. These are excellent for keeping my ng moisturized during my 13-14 week stretches and keeping my hair moisturized under my wigs.

You can always purchase sample sizes. I think they run about $5 each.

Are you both high porosity or low porosity? I havent ordered anything yet and am hesitant because the Califa line uses shea butter (which just sits on my hair) and the aloe my hair uses aloe, which is amazing for me in a prepoo, but leaves my hair crunchy and dry with a leave in. I am high porosity.

@abcd09

Im mixed porosity (normal/high)now, but when I started using Komaza I was full on High porosity (I was recovering from heat damage). I started with the Califia Spray and Leave In and my hair LOVED IT! Shea Butter is a miss for me as well, but the Califia is the perfect balance. The consistency isn't thick, but a light frothy cream that coats evenly upon application, so its not thick of globby like most Shea Butter based products. Its very moisturizing and seeps into the strand quite nicely, seal the cuticle like no ones business.

I've only tried the Aloe My Hair products in my mostly normal po. hair (I just started using it like a couple months, maybe 4 or 5, ago) so I can't really tell you how it works on High Po. hair. However my ends (last inch) are still high po. and they always feel moisturized after using the Aloe my hair products. Then again my hair actually likes Aloe, so it kind of goes without saying.

I have LP hair, but when I used the Califia Spray, it caused my hair to be hard an tangled due to the amount of aloe. I haven't read other reviews, but because I have LP hair, even though my experience is with one item, because I have the same problem with aloe in ALL products, I just wouldn't recommend to someone who doesn't have porosity issues.

I'm not saying it is not a good line. I loved the spray. It was just not for me. :(

Please excuse my iPhone; it's trying to get it together
