So I was browsing the aisles at the store yesterday and I came across this soap.

Then I looked at the ingredients:

Coconut soap, water, coconut oil, vegetable glycerin

I've never tried it but it has rave reviews online.

Are you going to try it? (The PJ in me wants to know!)

I want to try it. I didn't buy it cause I have a ton of shampoo already.

ETA: So what is it about this Coconut soap. I heard online that it's coconut oil mixed with lye :perplexed
I have to do more research.

Had good results with it on oily or irritated skin, expecially when I had very hard water. It was too drying for my hair.

Do most old-style soaps have lye? Maybe the LHCF soapmakers will come in here.

You have to use lye to make soap. No lye no soap or else all u get is a puddle of oil lol

Or u can use KOH
