Kim Kardashian's Braids

I love her braids here, but wondering how did she get them, as I've seen her "real" hair and it's a lot shorter and very thin. Does anyone know how to achieve this? I was thinking adding braiding hair, but some of her hair is not braided and hanging straight.

She might have something like skin wefts in, which look very undetectable to me. You could add bits of extension hair at each revolution of the braid and position it underneath the braid so the base doesn't show. Hope that made sense.

I'll have to google the skin wefts, never heard of that.
