For those of you who use this, what is it for? Is it a moisturiser or a leave in treatment. And does it detangle?

I believe its supposed to be a creme leave-in conditioner ... that's how I used it. It gave a nice shine, but it was too heavy for my hair and caused it to look and feel greasy. Allandra likes it so perhaps she can tell you more about.

Silk Groom is a moisturizer. Some people find it too heavy, but I loved this stuff. I haven't bought any in a while & I'm in braids now, so I don't have any. It's not cheap, but I think that it's excellent. Allandra's raves prompted me to go out and buy it, and I wasn't disappointed.

I have fine hair and it makes my hair realy nice. The key is not to use too much about a quarters worth and that is it, prior to roller setting.

I love it! I got my full sized bottle on ebay if you are looking for a price break. If you are near any Kiehls store they do give generous samples....
