I have the BKT by Coppola and have used the Infusion (at the salon). It's just a conditioner/treatment, not a BKT. It helps my ends lay flat when I go to the salon. It also makes it silkier.
My review Infusion is great! I use it in my salon and have seen amazing results. If you flatiron your natural or relaxed hair, you need this product. Infusion is a leave in heat activated deep conditioning treatment that you flatiron into your hair. It won’t over keratinize your hair (which can lead to breakage) because it penetrates into your hair. It takes all the frizz out in your flatirons, blocks the effects of humidity, and extends the life of your flatiron service. I highly recommend this to my clients.
Transitioning from a traditional relaxer to natural hair can be a long hard hair journey. Infusion takes the breakage out of transitioning. Have a smooth, silky, healthy hair transition.
Here is what the manufacturer has to say: “Keratin Complex Infusion is a unique formulation with advanced infusion technology. This high Ph replenisher automatically opens the cuticle and enters to infuse Keratin proteins and emollients into the hair. Its deep penetrating action repairs and revitalizes hair during blow drying or ironing and closes the cuticle to entrap nourishment. Optimized for use as a daily maintenance to the Keratin Complex Smoothing Therapy Natural Keratin Treatment.”
How does it compare/differ from BKT?
Does it repair damaged strands, allowing one to grow and cut as you go?
Is my pic in the first post the same treatment you're referring to?
Do you apply like BKT and then flat iron into the hair?
Will you have to use a high temperature setting to seal it into the hair?
ETA: Just read the FAQ's on their site and it sounds like BKT.
I'm relaxed and have no intentions of transitioning at the moment. Can i still use this as a leave-in when straightening my hair or is it better to just try JOICO's K-PAK leave in?
I also just did a review of this product on my blog. I didn't flat iron when I used it. I roller set. The product I'm really loving in the line is Intense Rx.
