Girl, the leave-in lasts FOREVER. It's so thick and concentrated, it would take you forever and a day to use the 16oz or even the 4oz. You would get your moneys worth if you like how this leave in works.

I don't have an alternative for you because I've never come across a leave in that matches the characteristics of this one, but hopefully you'll get some responses:)

I agree.. at first I was like..."why is the bottle so small and the price to high?" but it works... and it does last all day!! You just need a small amount at a time. Good luck on finding an alternative.

NTM leave in is good... but I have to apply it 2x daily so I go thru the bottle twice a fast as keracare leave-in.. so it is just about the same if you compare uses versus costs.

Girl I have one of those heads! I haven't found many cheap products that work well for my hair. Only Aveda and Nexxus. Which can COST.

Anyways, if you are trying to find something cheap that work well as Keracare, especially since you are in love with it, it's going to be a struggle! Obviously it has been working for you so I would continue to use it (very light handed). Sorry I have no better advice. But when I try to find cheaper alternatives to the things I love I end up wasting money and space:mad:

Yeah gurl, Ive had this leave-in for over 2 years and I use it every week (sometimes 2x a week) . I only use a dime size. My hair always feels moisturized!

Where do you ladies buy your Keracare products? I think i want to try this line.

A lot of beauty supply stores sell it, but if you are looking to buy on line, especially multiple products, http://www.discount-beauty.com is the way to go. Free shipping over $60. When I was a Kera Care gal myself, I ordered from them all the time. Great prices and service.

Thanks. I'm a pj. I'm a pj. Oh well I'm pulling out my debit card right now.

how and why do you ladies use this leave-in?
i've tried pretty much every other keracare product but never used this and wondered how it could/would fit in to my regimen.

Dang it man, I ordered the 1st lather shampoo, the dry and itchy detangling shampoo, the wrap foam, and 5 lb. humecto. I thought about getting the leave-in but opted not to do so. Now I'm wishing that I had. I don't want to order it separately so I guess I'll just order it next time I need to order something or just get it from my stylist.

This is sort of OT but for those of you that use it, do u think that using something like bbd stretch along with it would be a good idea or do you think it would be a waste of product to use both? TIA.

After this thread, I was actually starting to think about using it again for added protection. If I did, I would use it as a combo with BBD Stretch...Stretch is more water based reconstructor that penetrates into the hair, I think this leave in is thicker with more oil in it, adding a protective coating and different kind of moisture. I don't think it would be a bad idea or waste...but you won't know till you try it :)

What are the things you ladies use the most? I just ordered the leav-in, the wrap foam, and the humecto conditoner.

The shampoo and conditioning creme hairdress are HG's as well :D

i use the detangling poo, dry itchy scalp cond, humecto, leave-in, silken seal and setting lotion everytime I wash. I use the creme headdress as a moisturizer.

The thing I love (and hate) about Keracare is that the products really work with each other. The leave-in, silken seal and headdress work best when Ive used the shampoo and humecto:)

Well, I just came back from Ulta and bought the leave-in, but why did it cost me $13.00 for the 4 oz. plus tax.

what about the dark and lovely leave in conditioner? In fact i hardly hear ppl talk about the dark and lovely line.

Keracare costs different prices everywhere you go, the cheapest is on the internet and the most expensive is at small beauty supply stores-thats probally why it cost 13
If you ever want to get alot at once, go to the internet,
if not then just go to the BSS:)

Thankyall for answering my question!
