I usually would dampen my hair, put moisturizerizers/oils/gels in and retwist it.

Is this really the best way?

I was thinking about dampening it with diluted leave in conditioner and putting a little oil and retwisting.

Or just leaving it completely alone.

Or retwisting it without putting anything in it just so that the curls won’t get smashed while I sleep.

Which one is the best way??

Help, I really don't want to mess up this twistout until Tuesday

I've never put anything on my twist-outs other than a satin bonnet before I go to bed. If I ever had to put something on them, I'd apply some Suave Awaphi, the same thing I apply to my shak-and go's .
