i ask because my scalp gets buildup VERY easily. it seems that some heavy conditioners leave a coating on my scalp no matter if i try to scrub it out when i am rinsing. i have read that some ppl only coat their strands, whereas others apply their dc with a tint brush. i am wondering how i can condition as far from my scalp as possible without neglecting the roots!
