I've noticed in a few posts that for moisture a lot of folks recommend distilled water. Why?

It's pure water, no minerals deposits or anything in it.

I kinda thought so, but when I spritz my hair with water--- well mine is relaxed---it never dries straight--somewhat frizzy and then when I comb it I can hear hairs just snapping off! How do you prevent this from happening????

After you spray it with the water you have to use some type of product.
