and mmmmmm I was impressed! My hair felt so smooth when I was working it through. And when I rinsed you could tell it clarified but didn't leave my hair parched. Anyone else love this stuff?

I just bought a bottle, and I was shocked to see that such a little bottle cost so much! But anyway, I heard such good things about it on the board, and I did need a clarifying shampoo (I use CON), so I decided to give it a try. Now here is a stupid question, do you shampoo with your regular shampoo, then do one shampoo of Redken, or do you actually shampoo with only Redken, and then don't use it until a couple of shampoo washes later?

I did not really like this one. I mean it is my 2nd choice if I am out of Kenra Clarifying because I have hard water, but it seemed too stripping to use it as often as I need it, which is with every poo.

I mean this stuff gets my hair squeaky clean, literally!

Also, it seemed to burn my eyes every time I used it.

I prefer Kenra Clarifying Chelating over this one, but I will use the Redken in a pinch.

I would use it first followed by a moisturizing poo. Some ladies, I've read, will go straight to conditioning after using it, but I cannot do that since I do have to use a chelating shampoo with every wash - my hair would get dry.

I've been using this one for 3 yrs. A little goes a long ways. I alway follow with my normal po after clarifying.

I will just use this on an as needed basis. I haven't clarified in years so...

What does "chelate" mean? I almost went with the Kenra today.

I use it to clarify and then go straight to deep conditioning, or a protein treatment and then deep condition. I don't use more than one shampoo per wash day.

It never leaves my hair stripped, but I have hard water, so that may have something to do with it.

I use it at the shop and love the results. I prefer to use a moisturizing shampoo afterwards, but if I'm applying a deep conditioner, I skip the secondary shampoo so that the conditioner works better. I really like the fragrance, too.
