OMG! Am I crazy?? I guess so, because I just eliminated 2 inches of what looked to me like dead hair. Im freaking out but at the same time I feel good. It'll eventually grow back but DAMN!! Im under the dryer rollersetting now, so hopefully it'll look nice. I'll post pics later on today so you can see before and after! I need to hide my scissors though!

I just did the same thing on Thursday of last week. My ends looked thin to me. Now they are thick but my hair went from BSL to about APL. I don't like it but I keep telling myself its only hair. I need to come up with some new buns or something. I'm getting bored with my natural hair. I have been on this board for a while and I'm still not getting this hair thing.

I think you will start to like your healthier, fuller ends after you get over the initial disappointment of losing some length.

I agree. I was really mad when somebody cut 6 inches off. But in two months my hair grew a good 2.5-3 inches. You'll love the way your hair is going to look in the next few months. :yep:

Sorry, I mean damaged! Not only that but it was uneven too. It was humid to day so the rollerset didnt stay the way I liked, but my ends are at least even now! I have before and after shots too. I'll try another rollerset this weekend. Hopedully I have better luck. And thank you ladies. Nice to know Im not the only one who's done this. My sisters noticed but says it looks full and healthy. They said, on the pics you really cant tell too much. (I love them!)
