PLEASE HELP ME UNDERSTAND WHAT I'M DOING!
I know yall are like "this chic just popped up on thescene and is posting every five minutes!" LOL, sorry yall! I've been out of the loop for a minute and my hair has PAID for it!
So I'm about to do cleanse w/Shikakai but don't know exactly what the heck to do! I think I've dont it all! I have some in a pot that I boiled about 2 hrs ago. Is this a tea? If I use it that way, would I just stand in the shower and pour it through? Do I need to strain it first?
Should/can I make it a paste? If I do this, would I be just applying it and letting it sit like henna? No manipulation? Also, am I only applying to the scalp or the whole hair shaft? Do I let it sit?
Can I add a drop or two of clarifying shampoo (I've got some cone buildup) or do you think the shikakai alone will get rid of it?
I've used it before and although it was cleansing it was very drying. I think I did it wrong and don't want to do that again! Yall help me out!
Please reply, I'm going to do this in about an hr or two!
P.S.- I also slathered the Vatika on last night but its all absorbed so I'll put more before I cleanse.
