I was just sitting here and thinking how long I havent had a weave or used gel in my hair!!! its been almost a year!!!! It crazy to think that I used to be a weave queen and never would be seen walking around with my own hair out unless I had a weave ponytail!I might not have the best hair regimen yet, but that is because Im still looking for the right products to use.With the help and adviceof the women on this forum. I will make SL in no time! But I am mostly proud of myself for resisting but any kind of product that could potentially damage my hair like gel ect.... This has been the longest Ive been without a weave!!!Almost a year!!!!Thats crazy!!!!!

A year with weave? Wow. I think I'm a weave queen. I started with glue in weaves when I was 12, and evolved to sew-ins...that's 12 years wearing weaves. No one has ever seen my real hair because I never wore it out. Since this is helping me retain my length, I think I'll keep this up until I make it to WL next year.

I remember when I was still using grease, I didnt think I could really give it up! But its been several years now! and wow what a difference!
