Just Purchased a Flat Iron...Recommendations for a Heat Protectant?

I've never flat ironed MY HAIR. I've only done it on weaves ,
so please wish me luck. erplexed.
However, I need some recommendations for a heat protectant.
Yes, I'm so late and I'VE only just started taking care of MY hair...properly!
Better late than never I guess.

I have some of that (CHI silk infusion). Good product. Doesn't weigh hair down.
I have a 2 oz bottle but a little goes a long way

Kerastase Ciment Thermique ... hands down THE best heat protectant I have ever used.

Chi Silk Infusium - I add a dab while hair is wet.
Nexxus Protexx - I spray on small section right before gliding iron.
