Why does nape hair grow so much s....l.....o.....w.....e....rrrrr than the rest of the hair? My crown has got to be 5 or 4 inches longer. It's driving me crazy!!! Is there a product out there to strengthen the hairline and nape???

I have the same problem, and I know it's not breakage because I'm transitioning. I measure from root to the demarcation line. My "natural" hair in the front is 14 inches and in the back, it is 11 inches.

I actually have the opposite problem. My nape grows extremely fast while my crown grows slowly.
I know that Jen from JGA (I'm pretty sure she is/was a member) is working on growing back her nape after a setback. Maybe this page will be helpful to you?

I also have the opposite problem.

I don't this problem but I think the solution is just being mindful of the things around your hairline and keeping things from rubbing to harshly against it Ex. collars from shirts, head wraps, hats, towels etc.
