So, I have no idea what to do next. This is my first lace wig. This is it right out the box.

Youtube? That is always where I go. :)

I am sure the experts will be here soon to help.

It is very pretty. Where did you get it and how much was it?

I got it at RPGShow's black Friday sale. It is the ptc002. I ordered the 20inch so it came to 331 after discounts

Love the texture on this unit.

I have a routine that I go through with every new wig.
I usually work on it for a few days before I'm ready to wear it so its perfect and looks as natural as possible. BHM has tons of info.

-Bleach the knots. Make sure not to bleach the roots.
-If the unit is a color #1/1b you might need to dip it in dye remover.
-Cut and dye the lace if you need to.
-Wash. Condition.
-Cut into a nice shape to fit your face.
-If you want highlights or anything go for it. I did peekaboos throughout my last one and it came out so freaking pretty!

Here are a few pics of my last one.

Marand13 what unit is that in the pics you posted? I really like the way it looks, it really suits you. I also wanted to ask how long do you allow the unit to stay in the dye remover to tone down the colour? TIA

Angel of the North - Its a glueless virgin indian 16" from WigsRoyal. I had to cut out the ribbon in the front to get it to look right at the hairline because it was horrendous when I first got it! :lachen:

I get my wigs in color 2/4 or lighter to avoid having to do the dye remover thing. Check BHM they have every bit of info you will need on how to take care of a lace wig. But I don't think its supposed to sit for more than a few minutes. I could be wrong though.:look:
