Just for your info. This is the product that Oprah is tooting in her magazine. You know how she has a favorite and when she does people buy it. Well, this is suppose to be another one of her favorites. It a little pricey but I hear that it is a good product:

Uh oh.......I feel a case of pjism coming on:grin:

Yeah I had a big ol' wish list for anyway a few Aveda Products  . My first definitely though will be the Anti-Humectant Pomade. That is if I want any kind of style this summer. Our humidity is ridiculous!

I've been wanting to try their stuff but it costs so much. Maybe one day I'll be able to buy their stuff.

i have that and it is one of my staples. As a matter of fact the whole line is my staple. it is VERY good, but expensive, but IMO the price tag is well worth the results.

Which one would you say contributes to your shine(like in your sig) the most?

This actually not only sounds good but actually looks good from the indegredients, only 6 W:eek: W, and 4 out of them I know I can purchase, hmmmm, I wonder where I can get the phellodendrom and quinea protein. How much is it anyway???

Thanks, because I have been thinking of going with just one line and I think Aveda is going to be my choice. I like the contents of their products. Also, I am considering having a stylist color my hair Aveda coloring (I am going lighter and I will never ever trust myself doing that again!). If she charges an arm and a leg, I am going to the school in Chapel Hill (NC). They have some great prices. I think I am going to treat my best friend there for her birthday. I am definitely going to treat myself! I love what I saw.

The lady at the salon was like when Oprah toots it on her show, they will definitely have a hard time keeping it on the shelf. Wow, imagine having that influence?! You have to truly be careful. But, it is good to know that she is the type of person with integrity, stands by her word, and is not going to put the word out on something simply for an endorsement but, to truly say a product is good. However, it is always up to the person considering the purchase whether or not it is for them.

Just bought this yesterday. I dropped $107 at Aveda. The conditioner cost 24.00. Haven't used it yet, maybe this weekend. I'll be back to post my review.

Thanks Lauren for the review. You hair looks beautiful as usual. I went to go see your portfolio again and it seems that alot of your pictures are gone. I hope that they will be up again. I would be interested in seeing your progress. Keep up the great work! ;)

Man!! That chick is like King Midas, she has the golden touch.

It's almost time for me to get some more Aveda Anti-Humectant anyway as well as that Aveda spray one of the ladies here mentioned is excellent to prevent hair from reverting. I'll check it out although I don't need this (unless it can replace something, like Keraphix). I wonder if Aveda has samples...:scratchch

Oooooo, where can I get samples?

Try contacting the company. A good friend of mine does sales for them to stores/salons and gave me a bunch of stuff for free. They have to pay $1 for each one.
