Hey all,

I had run out of my trusty S Curl a week ago and went to the store to buy some more today. But my eye caught a hold of this LongAid stuff with aloe vera, it also says it's for extra dry hair. I bought it and used some earlier and think Im in love. I have never used activator in gel form before, but now I think I like it better. This is just my first time though. I was wondering, has anyone else used this regularly? If so are you getting good results, meaning do you think it is just as good as S curl?

Aww come on, all you S Curl users out there. Has anyone even heard of Long Aid? Ohhhh alright. I guess I'll see for myself in time then...I think it will work out though. For anyone who's interested. Im starting to think the gel offers more moisture than the liquid stuff

.

I tried the Long Aid activator gel. I'm not sure which formula it was... The label was blue... It made my hair feel really, really soft. But it also made my hair shed like a cat.

I know it was the LA because that was the only thing different in my daily routine. I like Worlds of Curls better.

I still like S-Curl, but I use so much of it.

The gel is more economical for me

No, I feel used less. It seems like it spreads easier and moisturizes more thoroughly. I have a 32 oz tub that was $5 and change. Right on the shelf next to it was a very small bottle of SCurl for the same price. So Im thinking that you'd get more for your money and it just might last longer. I will definitely see.

, that's not good to hear. My label is green, I guess representing the aloe vera in it. I condition wash and rinse a lot so hopefully that might counteract any shedding. However, if I even so much as experience one unusual moment of shedding, I will not hesitate to post about it and throw this LongAid in the trash. Hopefully my experience will be different. Im still using Surge too so that may help.

I got a jar of this about a week ago (green writing). It is extremeley moisturizing and makes my hair so soft. It does weigh the hair down more than s-curl but I'll certainly be restocking. At any rate I already replaced s-curl with Donnie's curl activator.

I was looking at it yesterday but didn't know if it was any good so I got Care Free Curl instead.

Oh I use this religiously when I wear my wavy phony. I mix it with clear non-alcohol gel and this makes your hair sooo shiny and holds very well. The green one for extra dry hair iswhat I mix with gel. Great results!

I've thought about trying Long Aid Activator gel after using up S-Curl. Instead, I ended up buying Citre Shine Gel and Elasta QP Penetrating Moisturizer. Anyway, I heard LongAid was some GOOD stuff!!! :yep:
