Thanks ladies for the compliments!! I hope you are all having a Happy Thanksgiving. I will do another update for my 2 years anniversay in January.

Your hair is so beautiful I love the color. Can I ask what products you use to get your hair to hang down so nicely? Thanks.

Thank you!! I think the reason why my hair hangs down is because I texturized it. If I didn't texturize it, I think it would be growing up and out instead of down based on my hair texture. As for the products, I am a product junkie so I rotate between alot of products. But in the mornings I wet my hair in the shower and when I get out I apply a cheapie conditioner (Suave, VO5, Garnier, Loreal) to my soaking wet hair, apply a moisturizer (Kids Organics) or butter (Shea butter, Body butter), gel (Fantasia, Eco styler) and seal with a carrier oil (castor, jojoba).

So far, I have never seen a texturizer that came out that way (please accept my apologies if your texturizer looks like the OP's and I missed pictures of your hair so far.) and I love it!! Really! It actually looks natural, not chemically altered at all. To be clear, I don't have a preference for other peoples' hair or what styles they wear, but I always imagined that this is what texturized hair would look like....just a little more visible texture and a little more ease of management.

Did you transition to a texturizer or start from a boy cut BC?

Beautiful, and thanks for sharing!

You are welcome!! I am trying my best not to overprocess my hair so I try to stretch as much as possible. I did the BC (boycut) January of last year and I was natural for a year and a few months then I got frustrated because my hair shrinks up so much so I texturized it. However, I think I might stop texturizing it as soon as I can make a real ponytail without any added stress on my hair.

Love the texture its so cute how you have 4a coils but they have hang nice job with the texlaxing:yep:

L:love2:VE the color, what brand of color did you use? Hows your hair holding up with it? Any issues or set backs because of it? If not, whats your reggie on how to keep it healthy?
