So I realized that I've been extra rude for not introducing myself to everyone. Long story short I've been all over this website & other hair boards since end of middle school/ beginning of high school. I'm in the middle of college now & finally decided to subscribe.

I know long hair is possible and some of my friends think I'm crazy. Always asking me "Girl, why don't you relax already?" or "Why are you taking those pills?"

There's also a few people I know who have long hair themselves who turn their nose in the air or make snide comments when I say I want long hair for myself. I used to say my hair journey was to basically get back at all the people who said I couldn't have long hair & then I realized I need to do it for myself first & the other people don't matter.

I really want to be full APL by September so hopefully I can make it! But not just the tip of my V touching APL. I want to have a majority of my hair there including my front layers which are a little shorter than the back ones. I got a blunt bob a while back so its weird that it grew back into a V. I know how y'all like pictures so I added one below.

candy626 thanks so much! I use kera care silken seal for shine. Its VERY light & smells nice too

whiteoleander91 Thanks girl! I actually died it a little voer a year ago. This is proof that semi permanent sometimes stays permanent. It used to be more magenta/ cranberry (that was an accident) but faded into this. I was tempted to get it redyed again but I decided I it like this even though my roots are all grown it.

DayDreamist yeah I've been slacking on my PS & DC. I love wearing my hair down but I think I'm gonna have to start PSing more if I wanna see progress.

SLOGRO How long did it take you to reach full APL?

Hello OP! My name is Shelew yeah! I am the same length as you yeah! I hope to get somewhere past this same old length sometime this year yeah! I have been stretching my relaxers and doing a fake ponytail bun or just ponytail. Unfortunately I am a PJ and may be why I am stuck at this length but I am getting better, until the next product is mentioned arghhh . Good luck with your goals!!
