Both of these products seem pretty good and I cannot make up my mind.

I've never tried Joico before but, I use Kenra regularly and my hair loves it!!!:yep:
It leaves my hair so soft and tangle free.

I was just going to say that it depends on what you are trying to do. Kenra would definitely be the best bet for MOISTURE. Joico on the other hand makes awesome protein rebuilding products. IT would be difficult to stay within the line if you choose just one becuase you'll have a need going unmet eventually. I am a Kenra user, but when I need protein I mix their reconstructor with Aphogee.:yep:
 
I agree with everyone who said get both--You cannot go wrong with doing so! They are both great lines that do what they say they will do...

But if you HAVE to choose one, I also say Joico Moisture Recovery, like nubian said, it's the best of both worlds :yep:

All of us Joico pushas need to put up our gang signs when we enter these kinds of threads :lachen:

Kenra MC is my Mega Moisturizing conditioner staple ...
I like Kenra CM too it gives good moisture and slip and smell real nice kinda like pina colada
 
oh wow this is very exciting! First of all you Alł have very Beautiful hair. I am going over to Ulta on my lunch today to check out the products I will update later..thanks again...I can feel my hair getting excited
 
i never heard of kendra before...?

but i really like joico's product lines. there products are fabolous. i have been using their shamp/cond for years. i tried other stuff like nexxus and it did not work on my hair at all.....

Kenra Daily Provision Leave in condish...(I put some of this in my hair immediately with the gloss. My hair feel really soft and silky cannot wait til I get home)
...and then I had to get to checkout..no lunch. I am so hungry right now.
I am goin back tonight to check out the rest of the Kenra stuff. I did notice alcohol in most of the styling products. but this leave in doesnt have any. I want some of that moisturizing conditioner....(to B contd.....)

Keep us posted Stella....I have some Joico stuff on my wishlist.
 
Every Joico product I've seen has either mineral oil, lanolin, or both.
For those reasons, I don't fool with it. Been tempted though...
 
Thanks stellaB for starting this thread! I'm really in need of a good moisturizing conditioner for my natural hair, I might justy go ahead and buy the Kenra Mc:yep:
 
I hope the images show up. If not I just have to update later but as far as what I have done for my hair tonight

:thumbsup::blowkiss::love2: THIS STUFF IS THE SHIZZLE!


First I washed with the shampoo, 1x. I found the shampoo very good. It reminded me of Elucence Moisture Balance but did not get as foamy but I got the same soft hair result. After washing NO TANGLES! I then applied the reconstructor condish. It just slid through my hair. I wrapped my head with saran wrap and put on the condish cap for about 15 min and then rinsed.NO TANGLES. I DC'd with Nacidit Olive Oil Condish:lick:.

After the treatment, I applied a dime size amount of Salerm21 leave in, heat protection, dime size amount of the Elixer, and the same amount for the Smoother. My hair feels fantastic. I mean my new growth...correction, what I thought was new growth must have simply been my imagination. I blowdried cool then added the smoother and went through each section once with warm.

My hair feels, strong, and looks straight, some of my remaining splits popped up but after a little snip snip, gone...I am so very pleased. This is definitely my staple.

I finally have one.

I forgot to go get the Kenra Shampoo and Condish.
I am just going to wait until next payday. Depending on my results it may be a toss up between the Kenra and the Elucence for Moisturizing....I just cant see giving up my Elucence but we will see. If it is better, than I have to use what works best.

If you wanted to know about any of the products I used today, I have posted the description of the product that I used today.

I am going to go back and get the split end mender, and the Styling Foam for when I wrap my hair at night. I am never going back to braids because these spits are hellafied. I think I got most of them. I am about 88% spit free. (will seek and destroy the 12%)

I AM VERY PLEASED WITH THESE JOICO PRODUCTS.
AND THE KENRA LEAVE IN IS AMAZING.
