Hey I've read all the great reviews and I've just purchased it...by itself. How do you guys use it...exact steps please? :yep: How soon before you saw results? How often do you use it? My hair is thin, breaking and is in dire need of help....Aphogee Reconstructor did not help...I'm afraid to try the 2 step Aphogee. I would really like to try this tomorrow if I can. I look forward to the replies.

Personally, I've use it two-three different ways::yep:

1) I co-wash and then apply the Reconstructor and sit under the dryer about 10-15 minutes then Rinse (for a Intensive Protein/Strengthening Anti-Breakage Treatment) No Plastic Cap

2) I apply after Rinsing out Relaxer and Before Neutralizing. I Rinse Relaxer, Apply, let sit on for about 5-10 minutes and then Neutralize

3) As a Basic Reconstructor following directions

Just search for Joico KPak and loads of information should come up. I had to do that a few months ago.

ps: I use it every other Friday, followed by AOHSR w/ EVOO as my DC.

Where's gymfreak? She recommends using it as directed on the label for the best results. She has an awesome way of describing why...

I prefer to use it before shampooing because it prevents protein stiffness.

Here are my steps
1.Wet hair and apply reconstructor for 10 mins
2. Rinse and shampoo with k-pak shampoo
3. Appy the k-pak Intense Hydrator for 15 mins
4. Rinse and apply styling creme or leave-in that you prefer.

I have used it as a prepoo and it before I washed my hair and it worked very well. I let it sit on my hair with a plastic cap for 30 minutes while I exercised.
