A friend of mine has not had her hair texlaxed for around 3 months she asked me was it safe to use the JFM kit on her hair since she already has a relaxer. Told her I would ask you guys. Any answers???????

If I remember correctly...a relaxer is a relaxer, regardless of how it is labeled. I'd advise your friend to just retouch her roots and not run it through the length of her hair if she just want to use JFM as a preference. A "super strength" kiddie perm isn't the same as a "mild" relaxer marketed toward adults. Super is super and vice versa for other strengths despite whom it is marketed toward.

HTH. Maybe some other ladies can add their insight.

I'm assuming she means just for her NG and not the length?
I'd make sure to keep the same type of relaxer (i.e., lye or no-lye).

Thanks ladies. I think she want to go the lentgh of the hair as if she has no relaxer, her hair is very midly relaxer-it's still very puffy------I was thinking it was a not a good idea-she was telling me when she was fully relaxed she pulled the Coppa brand through the ends and her haor was fine..................

I'll pass the info on!
