So I'm down south with the fam in Virginia and am on duty to cook the veggies. I got some evco from TJ's over the wkend cause I'm cooking varying vegan, veggie and/or gluten-free meals for the parents and myself.

As I was fixing myself a cup of green tea with lemon, mom was washing dishes and thought my melted evco was an empty container filled with water to be washed and put with the recycling:nono:. I had only used a few tablespoons:ohwell::perplexed. I was going to use some to cook the veggies as opposed to butter and put some on my twists cause I'm rocking a twistout today.

WHHHHHHHYYYYY LAWD WHHHHHHY ( does ugly cry and slides down the living room wall) Hold me in yo' arms and soothe me hair sisters, I feel weak!!!!!:cry2::cry:

Girl i feel your pain, my mom was using my growth aid for lotion !!!

I was wondering how it was going down so fast. I asked my nieces if they used it they said no. then we getting ready to go to brunch when my mom remarks that she likes my body butter but why it gotta smell like sulphur :cry:

Up an upnote the fam thought my mixed veggies, green beans and steamed spinach were thebomb.com. I used leeks, onion, garlic and jalapenos in them which I sauteed before adding:lick: i had no choice but to use a lil butter cause we had no evoo in the house. i also used a touch of veggie stock. one of my aunties tried to throw shade by telling errbody my veggies had no meat in them:look:

I'm sorry for your loss! Definitely take mom up on her offer to replace the EVCO.

I'm glad that dinner was delicious.

As for the aunt who was throwing shade at your veggies, she didn't have to eat any if they weren't to her liking.

You cook for the family, and she has the nerve to complain...please!
