I bought this monday, did a pre-poo for a couple of hours (mixed with amla and navaratha oils) then used it to seal my wet hair...OMG, my hair is crazy soft, it's amazing something so cheap could do such a great job!
I am in love...

And the smell is great too, flowery and light, I've already gotten complements on it this morning. I really really really like this stuff!

Bad childhood memories of it running down my neck and people teasing me saying that i smelt like an Indian. I just can't go back there:look:

Awww, that's mean. :(

But I'd rather smell like this than like MTG!

I tried mine last night. I am not a lover of the smell. It's just ok, not bad, not good, but the softness is INCREDIBLE!

Ok, now the pj in me is waking up! Where are you all getting Jasmine oil? Can you post a pic of the bottle that you go it in? how much was it. Is it pure jasmine oil, or is it mineral oil w/ some jasmine oil in it?

I can't find the particular Jasmine oil that my mother used ( this was like 10 yrs ago) but it had a picture of an Indian Lady on it. I think that was pure. In the UK Hair shops are owned by Asians- Indian/Pakistani etc. So they usually have their products and ours mixed together, my mum just got ours from a local BSS.
I'm sure if you go to any Indian Grocery store they are guaranteed to have it. I'm not sure about the Dabur oil but i'm like 95% sure the KTC oil is pure.

I have the dabur and I am sure it's mostly mineral and vegetable oil.

ETA:
Dabur Jasmine Oil
Keeps Hair Nourished, Lond and Excitingly Fragrant.

Nourishes and strengthens hair, while providing a rich silky feel and a delightful fragrance of Jasmine flowers.

Directions for use:
For best results, apply 1 to 2 teaspoons (up to 10ml) of Dabur Jasmine Hair Oil into the hair and leave for some considerable time (ideally at least 1 hour). Then apply a good shampoo such as Dabur Vatika Heena cream conditioning shampoo. Massage the shampoo well into the hair and scalp. Rinse. For best results apply Dabur Jasmine Hair Oil three times a week.

Ingredients:
Vegetable Oil, Mineral Oil, Jasmine Perfume, TBHQ (antioxidant).

I'm not sure either, I just don't think its really Jasmine oil if it's "jasmine fragrance"- what the heck does it mean?lol! I can't believe Dabur they have Vatika made of really good stuff and than this one loaded with substitutes.

I'm thinking along those lines, as well. It's sounds like it may smell like Jasmine.

I went back to the store and the KTC Jasmine oil is not pure at all!! Its just mineral oil and fragrance!
Gorgeous hair, i can't find the real amla oil.
