So can you ladies believe the month is over already??? 2011 is starting out pretty darn good. I think I'm going to have my friend cornrow my hair but leave out some in the front so I can rock my halfies. Plus I'll shampoo and DC before she does so just to baby my hair a little bit...maybe a Keratin treatment too. We shall see.

What about you?? Any new hair products you plan on using for the first time this weekend? Break out that new wig and rock it out Saturday night with the friends??

Tonight- rockin my UPA clip to work, it's pinned up in a bun
Tomorrow - Shampoo w/ Aveda Dry Remedy, DC w/ something (haven't decided yet lol), then gonna do a curlformer set
Sunday - Pin the curls up into a cute updo :)

I did a cassia treatment last night (my first treatment in a long time) and boy does my hair feel awesome today. I mixed cassia with some aveda conditioner that is just ok, water and amla oil. Put oil on my hair and scalp and let it sit for two hours. Rinsed and conditioned. Then put my hair in braids for a braid out today. May rinse on Sunday and rebraid, may not.

Okay so I did a twist out last night on dry hair, I sprayed it with Elast QP h20 and some castor oil. I did 6 flat twist to the back and put rollers on the ends. The results are in my fotki. Hopefull it last all weekend.

I did a hot oil treatment, shampoo, and conditioned with the mix of olive oil, castor oil and honey. And once again my hair came out marvelous. I think this is gonna be by new routine the results have been consistent my last two sets.

This week I washed my hair with Hair One Argan Oil - works best when you use ample amounts. I also washed with Healthy Sexy Hair Chocolate Milk Shampoo all of those are Sulfate Free. I then used DRC-28 Protein Treatment for 15 minutes under the dryer, I steamed Silk Elements Megasilk Moisturizing treatment for 30 minutes, went up stairs to play 3 games of Family Feud and low and behold I ran down the stairs to the hooded dryer my hair was 90% dry. I put my leave in's in and then blow dried my hair.

I am sporting a BUN until Thurday Next week when I will braid it back up and rock the wig in my Siggy :)

I'll be doing my henna treatment overnight tonight, and DC'ing and styling in the morning. This is my "hair out" week for the month, so I'll be experimenting with styles this weekend :yep:

Pre-poo: rice bran oil + EVOO
Shampoo
DC with ORS replenishing
Apply rice bran oil +EVOO mix to dripping wet hair
Airdry 60%
Apply leave-ins
finish airdrying
Bun

Tomorrow im gona attempt a braid out again after I wash and deep condition. On damp hair Im gona use coconut+walnut oil, grease and a touch of gel. Will do about 8 braids.

Have a great weekend ladies!!!

I think I may actually follow through and henna my hair this weekend since I bought all of this stuff from AyurNatural Beauty--henna, indigo and amla. I get so confused reading the henna threads because it seems everyone does something a little different so I am just going to follow the instructions on hennaforhair to a tee. Need to pick up plastic gloves.

I'm getting ready to pre-poo & apply a henna mix tonight, DC tomorrow and use Kimmaytube Leave-in moisturizer.

Tonight: DC with Mixed Chicks DC and Argan Oil

Tomorrow:Cowash & Coilout fro with flower or headband

Sunday: Cowash, WNG with headband, overnight DC

Pre-poo: WGO,Rice bran, Hemp seed, JBCO
Co-cleanse: Mozeke Avocado Cleanser (used up)
CoWash: Skala G3
DC: Christine Grant Babassu Butter Conditoner
Leave-in: SSI Coco Cream, Leave-in spritz mix
Style: Curlformers

Tonight I'm trying to decide whether I wanna clarify shampoo and deep condition my hair, or bentonite and deep condition it... decisions, decisions. I really hate to detangle my hair cause it messes with my clumps. On Sunday night I'll be co-washing, thoroughly detangling, and twisting it up to wear throughout the week as per my new regimen.

I will most likely do this on Monday of next week
Wash with CON green
Protein treatment with Aphogee 2 min
DC with Pantene Relaxed and Natural in a jar
Final cold rinse with Roux Porosity control
Use Herbal Essence LTR as my leave in
Dry under hooded dryer, apply One n Only Argan Oil and then flat iron

Well, I've got it up in rollers for tonight so I'm going to rock some loose curls tomorrow.

If I feel up to it, I'm going to get the dreaded trim from a trusted individual. It's BSL on the way to being full BSL so I'm really really nervous!

After that I'm going to do my wash and dry routine:

Wash with sulfate free shampoo
Detangle with conditioner
Us a intense protein treatment
DC overnight with herbal DC, hair in braids
Steam in the morning
Condition/seal with avocado/yogurt/evoo mix, hair in braids again
Rinse in cold water

I want to do some twist on Sunday, but if I'm feeling lazy I'll probably bun again. But if I twist, it'll be the first time in months. I'll enjoy having some sway again.

Tonight:
- take down cornrows and detangle
- Joico Clarifying & Chelating shampoo (first time using this)
- Joico K-Pak Reconstructor
- DC for 1 hour with heat

UPDATE:

I really liked the Joico chelating shampoo! Where has this step been all my life. :drunk: Oh, I didn't end up DCing because I didn't feel like shower hopping. So after the K-pak I just conditioned with Kenra Moisturizing Conditioner and that seemed to do the trick.
