Am curious about her nourish and shine cream. Did it work for you? if you stopped using it, what do u use now? does it work better and is it cheaper?

I use the nourish and shine cream as my moisturizer and I have for the past 2 years. The blend of the butters responds well with my hair. I don't moisturize daily though (every other day maybe)...I don't know about it for a daily moisturizer. The cream is a little pricey but my last tube lasted about a year, but like I mentioned, I don't use it daily.

I used to use it. at first i loved it. then i liked it. now i can't stand it. i used to love the scent. now i just use coconut oil and nothing else. i've been trying to get rid of what's left of my N&S. i also have some left over twist and lock. for me, the scents of both products are too strong. i also have some unrefined shea butter that i never use.

I have 2 JC Products:

1 Hair Nourishing Cream "Ultra Light Hairdress" as a "Gift" from a Fellow PJ
1 Nourish & Shine For Dry Hair & Dry Skin from a "Trade" w/another Fellow PJ

I really wanted them both, so they were a "blessing" because I didn't necessarily want to Spend the $ and not like them. They are both very nice. They Smell Great and I used each and liked them on My Hair.

So, I packed them away and will use them Spring/Summer. They are very "lightweight" and I have incorporated more Heavier Products (butters & oils) into my Fall/Winter Reggie.

They are really popular and there are a couple JC Threads out there.

Based on these two, I wouldn't mind trying the Leave-In, but I think it's a "spray" and I prefer creamy leave-ins.

I love the way Nourish&Shine smells...it's so yummy. So far it's working well for me. I mainly just use on wet hair, as a sealer. And it helps keep my edges moist.

If you use too much it can be greasy. To be honest, it's a really expensive butter. I think when I run out I'll probably just use coconut oil instead. But the n&s is heavier than coconut oil so I may just keep it around. I don't know yet.

i think i will be purchasing it to try this month. i just received my qhemet amla heavy cream...it did absolutely nothing to my hair. i think everyones hair is different. i thought this was gonna soften and moisturize my hair

nope, not greasy to me. as long as you are not heavy-handed in applying product, it is lightweight and quite nice overall. i think you may like it. see if you can get a free sample (i got one when the rep was in whole foods)

as for the Qhemet heavy cream. i use that too. sometimes i love it sometimes i don't. i'm a "natural" head so i use the heavy cream on damp hair to twist. when i do, my twists turn out soooooo beautiful and soft and the resulting twist out is lovely.

when i qas relaxed i loved the n&s. now that im natural i love the twist and lock cream. it makes the most beautiful twists. and they are so shiny.

I've used both the N&S and the condition and scuplt.

The Nourish and shine I LOVE. It smells great and isn't greasy (if you don't apply too much) I've used it on my skin also and it's really moisturizing.....however as much as I love it, it is way too expensive to me for such a small jar. I've actually started using un-refined shea butter on my ends/ before my puffs (the same way I used N&S) and it's even better than the NS! So as a cheaper alternative before you spend money on the NS....try shea butter it's a must have for me!

The conditon and sculpt is like water to my hair and doenst condition or sculpt just makes it wet! so I wouldn't be trying that again.

If Jane decides to lower her prices it will def become one of my staples!

Maybe you can whip shea butter and coconut oil together......

i love it. I'm just too cheap to buy more, lol. 17.99 is no joke when my daughters hair sucks the stuff right up. I have a tiny bit left and I'll buy more when I get a Vitamin Shoppe coupon.

I started using it about 2 yrs ago and still use it. I just made my second purchase of it. It lasts me a really long time. I love the smell, so yummy. I only use it on my edges and ng. It really helps to keep my ng moisturized while I'm stretching. I also use it when I do braidouts.

I use the Nourish & Shine cream and the regular nourish and shine. I also use the leave in conditioner. I have no complaints. I like them so much that the price isn't even an issue. I also use these products on my DD and she's natural, her hair stays so soft and moisturized.
