I now have some.....what do I do with it?

Is it used as a scalp oil?
Does it effectively help fill in thin spots?
Do you use it on your ends?
All of the above + some.........

advice....please and thank you.

I have some JBCO and I don't use it as a scalp oil although the bottle indicates you can. I don't put anything on my scalp except for the part in the front of my hair to help lay it down better. I especially use it on my edges and the end of my ponytail before putting it in the baggie. I use it more on the front sides of my hair since it's not as full as the rest. I find this oil too thick for my fine hair and it feels kinda rough when I run my fingers thru it. HTH:)

I ordered it from http://www.sams24-7.com/ It arrived really fast.

I used it last night on my edges. Outside of Amla oil, I use (regular) castor oil on my scalp a few times a week or I'll use it on my ends when I'm rolling my hair. I'm still trying to figure out the difference between black (unrefined) castor oil and regular off the shelf castor oil. HTH's

I want to find it locally but haven't had much success. I use the regular castor oil. It really is great for laying down edges. I also oil my scalp with it. My hair is super thick thanks to the castor oil.

Will this be a good choice to seal your ends with before you baggie?

I don't see why not.....I ususally apply a creme moisturizer and then when I roll my hair at night, I add some castor oil to seal my ends.

I HAD some oil until my two year old ended that.

I got mine during a visit to Jersey. There's a wonderful health food store in E.Orange, NJ called Olive May on Halsted and Main. I bought a little bitty bottle for 7.99. If anyone's in that area, that would be the spot.

Also, there are beauty supply stores further up main street in downtown Orange. One located right near the McDonalds had a grip of dominican products, Kitty Hutton's line (moelle de boeuf, etc). Pretty much everything that get's discussed here. Junky as all get out, but hey...

Hmmm...I may give this a try. I need to use up a lot of the products that have invaded my bedroom and bathroom before I buy anything new. But I will put this on my to buy list :). Thanx for the product rec....

I use to seal in my moisturizer.. I love it's thick/gooey consistency..I got mine from sams247 as well

Does this just thicken your new growth?
It also thickens existing hair. Not certain how, it also darkens hair over a period of time. Myself and several of my family members experienced a noticeable difference in thickness from using black Castor oil. If you can find organic Castor oil, that's the same thing. I mix my Castor oil with coconut oil. 1) stretches Castor oil 2) thins out the consistency (as some have found too thick can lead to breakage). Castor oil (from the Palma Christi plant) does that not say it all. Castor oil is said to prevent hair breakage. Darken the hair, strengthen the hair.
