Oh yes! I have found somethign that not only holds the style my hair is in but also moisturizes. :^D I am OH so happy now. My roots are now much softer and moister feeling. :^D I sooo happy. Any1 else use this hair product? It shines, conditions and gels. :^D Sweeet. If ya got tough roots try this. I'm 4a-b

JAM. The kind that shines and conditions and is a gel. You can put it on wet hair also. i might try that today when i wash, which reminds me i think imma go and get some1's regimen and try it for myself now

yes, JAM is the bomb.

u know, they also have a "Light Hold" version just in case you want to use alot without too much build-up

Yes, thank you. Thats the jar. How much does the the product cost? I got this jar from my uncle. hehe. I'm thinkin its 4 dollars or maybe 5?

i like jam on my edges too, but it doesnt last. it fades in like 2 hrs. maybe its cuz i dont have a relaxer

No kenesha you are not the only one, I really don't care for it either, I used it only when i had small cornrows to keep them sleek after i washed them..

I love Jam on my edges.

I like to put it on my edges, too. Especially when I'm wearing a bun. Lately I've been using the Smooth 'N Shine Supershine conditioning gel, which seems to me to do the same thing.

If Jam is too heavy or just doesn't work for you I recomend Elasta's Glaze, smells good, smoothes edges and shines .

Does Jam only come in that black gel?

The product is actually a pinkish/orangish color. It smells like candy or fruit, too.

Ms kenesha,

I don't like jam either thought I did use it in college. It's a little too greasy for me and something's odd about how jam and aura humectant pomade (which seem very similar) can make the nail polish rub off...has anyone else noticed that? Still, I guess it goes back to working for some and not others...

i LOVED the clear one, but i think they stopped making it. i haven't been able to find it for almost two years. i really only like clear gels. i'm glad this works for you though. it's wondergul finding the perfect products for your hair!

I also didn't like Jam, only because it's not very effective on my unrelaxed hair, it would revert my blowdried hair even when i just used a small amount on the edges. But on the upside, it smells good!

Jam is an okay product. I use it when I have my phonytail. I don't like gels that get hard and this was the only one that I found that did not make my hair hard.

I like Elasta Glaze better. I used both when I was relaxed and first transitioning. I like the way the Elasta held my edges down.

I used Elasta QP Glaze and Jam - the clear one (a long time ago). I like both products. They do a great job at smoothing down the hair.

YES, I get MAJOR reversion when I use it.

Does Elasta glaze keep edges down for the entire day? The thing about Jam is that it doesn't last at all. But when I first smooth it on, it looks really, really good.

When I used glazed it kept my edges down very nicely. The only thing I didn't like about Glaze is that it had a kinda burnt smell, IMO.

Well i tried jam on my wet, hot oil 6'd hair and it worked well. :^D It softened nicely. :^D

Did you guys know Jam will take the polish off of your fingernails?

In case you didn't, just thought I'd share...
