Buying of hair oils and crap im just going to use Olive oil for everything at this moment im cheap with everything so instead of heading to the beauty supply i will head to the kitchen cupbard
I was thinking of ordering oil online or Jane Carter Nourish and Shine. Either would have cost me $20 minimum.
Sometimes I forget simplicity and think I have to buy this or that for my hair. I like Jane Carter Nourish and Shine because it's a moisturizing butter and doesn't weigh my hair down. It's so not in the budget right now.
My scalp needs some type of oil. If not, my hair breaks. Grease isn't an option (after LHCF).
I justed used some olive oil and it's all good. I'll save money, my scalp will still be oiled and I don't have to deal with shipping costs, etc.
I'm with you. I just went to Sam's and bought a big economy size of EVOO. I recently mixed it with shea butter and rubbed it on my skin. My SO commented on how smooth my skin felt. So now that's my new lotion.
I lived with just extra virgin olive oil, honey and coconut oil for years until I found out about all these other oils. I like my life complicated LOL
Anyway EVOO is great and I used it with sugar and made my own face scrubs. I would heat it up for 5 seconds in the microwave and do hot oil treatments. I mix it in my conditioners and henna. Its the bizness
That's all I use for everything. I use it to seal and mix it with my conditioners when I DC. On the rare occasions that I attempt air drying, I use to hydrate and soften my hair.
I love olive oil for pre-pooing. But I can't use it for anything like sealing, It would break out. And even a tiny amount makes my hair feel way too oily.
