All I do is wet my hair and apply the Mango Butter. Then I tie it down and voila! It works for edges and all that...All you have to do is apply it there like you would apply gel, for a little more hold...

I love this!
It holds like gel, doesn't get hard. And ur hair is being held down with moisture....(Yes, I know Mango Butter has some protein in it, but not in harsh amounts like the protein gel).

The only thing is that it can build up sometimes, but for frequent washers, (I say, weekly) it shouldnt be a problem...But I've been lazy this month.

Well, i love it, love it, love it as my gel.holding product!

ETA: Gives good curl def. for me....

I use it on my daughters hair (she is natural) and it holds down her ponytail so well. If I apply while her hair is wet, it locks in her waves. I love that stuff.

Please please tell me how you apply the mango butter. I'm DDtexlaxd....and I am a gel addict!
