Supergirl

With Love & Silk
I bought the $40 shears from Sally's yesterday. (the one's with the lifetime warranty and lifetime sharpening that someone spoke of in a thread not to long ago) I gave myself a good trim last night--about 1 to 1 1/2 inches.

Today, my hair is down and swinging with a small bump on the ends. The ends are sooooo nice and full and with the new conditioner I used, my hair feels indescribably wonderful!

And I'm so encouraged right now that I might even try self-relaxing again. My difficult experience last week was my fault. I was lazy with basing my scalp and I paid for it, but the lesson has been learned.

Just sharing my happy hair moment. All done now.

Awwww yay! I've been loving my hair all week. The less product regimen is what's made me much happier with my hair.
Now, you know someone was gonna ask....what's the new conditioner? hahahaha I wouldn't be a PJ if I didn't ask. lol:p

OMG!!! I cut my hair last nite too!! the same amout ( I might have pics) but it was because I was tired of those raggedy ends girl. What I used were some.. regular old scissors I found in the house. (I don't think they're dull)...

New Conditioner--check out my thread titled "My Hair Is Moisturized, I Used A New Conditioner--Wanna Hear It? Here It Go!"

I'm happy for you SuperGirl...However, I wish I could say that I really love my hair right now. Since you're considering self relaxing, what relaxer will you choose?

Hey Supergirl, I'm glad to hear that you're loving your hair, I wish I could report the same. What relaxer are you using when you self-relax? Pardon me, if this has been answered somewhere else.

Supergirl.....do you have a certain method of trimming your own hair? I haven't gotten the self-trimming thing down yet.

Supergirl, since when did you start self-relaxing your hair? Have u been doing it for a while?

Lala, I love your hair too! Do u self-relax? If you do, I will start too. ;)

I've done the last 2 relaxers myself. I'm on the fence as to whether I'll do it again.

Lala, I have been using Silk Elements Regular Lye Relaxer. I like it.

I wish I could. Unfortunately, I have no skills in that area at all. Unless someone starts a thread with step-by-step pics, and leading-edge techniques, I won't be self-relaxing. Maybe Supergirl has some tips to share...

SG, make a post of the products and tools u use. You always find the best products. :)
