My husband said I could pick out anything I wanted. I am going to pick out hair products but I need some suggestions of what works for you guys. I am currently using Profectiv but I don't think my hair likes them very much because it still gets dry and frizzy. My hair is relaxed 4b and my main goal is to add moisture. Any and all suggestions are welcome.

Thanks a bunch!:)

Nexxus (original or the phyto organics line), Coconut Oil, and shea moisture leave in from treasuredlocks.com has worked very well for me as far as moisturizing.

I agree re: Nexxus. Also, castor oil, amla oil, ORS Replenishing Paks, maybe some Dominican conditioners, Giovanni Direct leave-in, Aveda products...there's so much to try and choose from. Enjoy!

Happy Birthday! I love the Ojon line. Start with the Restorative Treatment, then the Hydrating Shampoo and Hydrating Conditioner.

You can try the "Try Me Kit" or another of their sample kits. Check out their website: www.ojonhaircare.com

Thanks everyone for answering. I live in Jacksonville and some products are hard to find. I do a lot of ordering online but that can get a little expensive. Where do you usually buy Nexxux products? Do you get them from a regular beauty supply store or do you buy them from a salon.

Thanks Royal Glory - I went on their website and ordered the Nurturing hair kit. I can't wait for it to get here.

Also what are Dominican products? Is that the name of them? If so I have never seen them here. Do you have a website that sells their products?

Thanks.

You can purchase Nexxus at JC Penney's, beauty supply stores, or CVS/Walgreens.

Dominican products are a type of product that's marketed to and used by Dominicans. There a wide variety of brands. Sickbay.biz and Roundbrush.com both have a wide selection. If you run a search, you can learn more about them and how the ladies here use them.

Happy Birthday! It's my birthday too! Happy Birthday to use both! Happy shopping. I'm trying to get my staples down too, so I probably wouldn't be much help in that area.

Happy Birthday Faithfullover!!! :)

Happy Bday to you also sweetnlow!!!! :)

Have fun shopping Faithfullover/Mya!!
I'm a 4a/b---If you order any Dominican products... Lacio Lacio is a good leave-in. It smells good also! Oh yes, and Praital poo and conditioner are really great!

Elasta Mango Butter is a good product to have on hand. My hair loves it--however, my hair loves the Profectiv products also....

Happy Happy Birthday! I would spend some Birthday Money on Ojon, Oyin, and Aveda! Happy Shopping!

Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes:) especially SweetnLow. I rarely meet anyone who has the same birthday as me although I know a ton of people born in March. You guys have given me some great products to search for. Until I joined this board I never even knew a lot of these products existed. Thanks for helping a sister out.

Mya

By the way you guys have some gorgeous hair. If I can get my hair half as gorgous I'd be happy!
