I just wanted to tell you all it’s my 2nd year being natural and almost three years since my last perm!!!!!! I'm so happy!!!!
Thank you guys for accepting me here and letting me just be me!!!!!
To those who are transitioning or thinking about it: keep going your results will be completely worth it in the end. After I got used to being natural I wondered why I didn't go natural it sooner???? I started to wish that I had NEVER permed, which is crazy because I used to perm my hair if I simply "thought" I saw some "new growth". Now my fingers give my new growth a warm welcome with pleasure.
I can remember when I was permed, if you would've mentioned ANYTHING to me about natural hair I would've thought you were crazy. The only natural hair I liked was hair that looked curly and "indian" . I was a fool for "good" hair, there was no way in the WORLD you would catch me..."THE DIVA????" without some sort of process or WEAVE. I hid behide all of that, because I thought that was what I needed. God help me....But I really wanted to fit in...The blackest white girl you ever knew???!!!!! Glad to say that now I'm a lot more free then I use to be.....I had to really come to terms with some things. I had to find me! Come to find out I'm still a "DIVA" lol and even more so now that I set and live by my own standards of beauty!
Believe it or not you guys (both natural and relaxed) have also helped me appreciate what I've got on my own head. You all are my sisters and I love you all dearly...there is definitely I lot of love oozing around this board. We don't always see "eye to eye”, being that I'm a die-hard natural lol, but we do respect each other and that’s what counts.

Again I just wanted to thank you guys for being there for me to support me in my natural journey. Thank you for celebrating my 2nd nappiversery with me!!!!!!

!!!! After stalking your album quite a bit... I would say yes, you are still definitely a diva... and natural hair definitely suits you!

I’m almost approaching one year relaxer free, and like you, I love the feel and strength of my new growth so much I can’t believe I didn’t go natural sooner --- granted, all I knew was the relaxer. I wish you much success with your natural hair because you are really working it! Happy hair growing!
