it's muggy and i'm ready to crawl out my wig!

It's early in the year for this type of weather and already, I'm ready to bag my wigs. I am going to try my hardest to keep wearing my wigs....as long as possible. Am I the only one feeling like this?

I don't even want to feel my own hair on my neck, nevermind a wig! It is disgustingly humid here in MA today so I can only imagine what it must be like it VA! I've been walking around looking like this all day!

It's muggy over here in NY also and I'm wearing the tammy half-wig.and I can't wait to get out of work to take this off! I'm still trying to think if I can wear this wig for the whole summer.

That's exactly what made me bc when I did. I was trying sooooo hard to transition under a wig, but Texas heat and a wig are a bad combination.

There's a lady at my job that wears wigs year round, even when we have 100 degree temps. I don't know how she does it.

i survived though because she is big, but she's light. i twisted her up into a beautiful french roll and clipped her. came out great. so i didn't kill her

I thought i was the only one. I just was itching my head and felt sweaty and hot. I have only been doing wigs since feb. I wanted to do it all year long but don't know if i can. Think i might go back to weaves by july.

Over the weekend, it was about 85 degrees, and I had on my half-wig, stocking cap, and a baseball hat....I was very close to passing out from an overheated brain.

I'm still going to keep wigging it throughout the summer though, just minus the extra layers.

eta: I was wearing Tammy as well , that must be why I can't find her in any BSS in 3 boroughs!

good lawd it was hot & muggy last night. I wear a half wig during the day but that installed lace front doesn't get much play when it starts getting hot like this.

Girl, you ain't never lied. I took a nap in my car on my lunchbreak today and as soon as I got in my car I pulled that bad boy clean off. This is my last wig month, I hope I can make it...

It's like 81/82 and 69% humidity. huh, my goodness...lawd know's I better not go over to CurlDiva's thread and tell her..."I quit!" I thought I was going through early stages of hot flashes but it's the weather.

I took it off...But to make matters worse, lawd o lawd, dh turned off my lifeline...AC! I'm going to be burn'n up in this house later on tonight. I'm willing to sleep in my lace wig but bejeesus(help me), I refuse to sleep feeling like I'm in a furnace room while in a wig....I need some space and the wig will only make matters worse.

I decided to get a little bob for the summer as I don't want anything on my neck. But I'd be a liar if I said I wasn't ready to take that thing off and wash my hair. I probably will wash my hair tonight, but if it's going to be like this all summer I'll be co-washing about every day. (Maybe I'll get some extra growth!)

i may weave it up in june or july as well. this is my first time wearing half wigs for more than a few days...i was trying to wig it for a few months as a protective style, but errr ugh....i may not make it

i love the growth it gives me..but after being out in the florida weather today, i came home, threw off that wig and stocking cap,took out my plaits,washed,detangled and im gonna be bunning or puffing it up for tomorrow

Dag, I planned to wear my new wig, Baltimore Girl, tomorrow. I finally got her in a #2 (had #4 already). Now I am rethinking just wearing my puff.
