Hey ladies, just wanted to give you all a little laugh.

A few mins ago, as I was walking to my bedroom, I passed a spray bottle with water that my father usually uses when he's ironing his shirts. As I'm walking, I pick up the bottle, lightly mist my hair, and put it back down, totally pleased with myself that I just gave my twists a spur-of-the-moment moisture blast.

What random/spontaneous things have you done for your hair?

Hahaha, that's funny. Hey, recycling is a good thing. Put that water to use!

awww lol that story is cute

whenever i take out too much shea butter mix for my skin, the rest goes in my hair.... thats abt it

haha I game myself a scalp massage with my Tangle Teezer this morning. I don't use it on my ends but it feels incredible on my scalp. #random

Haha! I do stuff like that all the time. Idk where I was but I saw "sl" and I saw "ng" someplace. So of course when I read it in my head, I said shoulder length and new growth. I stopped like huh?! Wait. Lemme try that again lol

I also got my SO into cowashing. But the sneaky side of me told him to get suave humectant cuz "it's gonna keep your hair soft and create better waves". HA! The pj in me just wanted to try it out without hearing him complain that I spend too much time in the hair care aisles at target lol. That way I get to use it and not pay for it :). Another dollar saved for the pj!

After washing my hands, I take a few gentle handfuls of water and smooth down my hair with it. I’ve been refreshing my ponytails like this for years.

I'm beginning to keep a small bag of hair care products in my car "just in case".
A pet-peeve of mine is being out and about and in the back of my mind I know my hair is dry...I'm like, "I . Need. Moisturiser. NOW."

OMG I do the exact samething...never even gave it a second thought. Now that I think about it, I even do it in public :lachen:

i kept a bottle of shea moisture curl milk in my car for the longest, and i have like 4 satin scarves in there, but the other day i was thinking about getting mini jars from sallys and putting gel and thick moisturizers in them so i can touch up my hair throughout the day...i also need to put a brush and a spray bottle in there lol...and i think i'm gonna pick up a couple travel size conditioners while im at it lol

For the past week, I've applied NTM silk touch at the beginning of the week, and bunned it. The rest of the days, after brushing my teeth and washing my hands clean, i use tap water to slick back my hair into a bun which i don't mess with until the next morning...when i use water and slick it back again. Keep doing until wash day. Then repeat. No manipulation expert over here!

:lachen: @Pjay I do the same thing at work. When I wash my hands instead of immediately drying them I have caught myself using the water to smooth down my bun!
