Good morning ladies, what time do you get up and what is the first thing you do to your hair. do you unveil it first because you can't wait to see it or do you get dressed and shower first.

Well i get up at 4:30am in order to be at work at 6:00am. The first thing i do is place some coconut oil on my hair before i co wash. Lately its been getting cold outside in Oklahoma so i will have to find something else to do.

wow! you live in Oklahoma and it's cold. this sounds like a good start with the coconut oil and condition wash. when you leave the house is your head dry? i use one of Shea butter whips i make for my hair. of course my hair is in little platts because i am still transitioning and on a challenge until December. The Shea butter keeps it from being dry and looking awful

MTG my scalp, MT cream the body of my hair, wrap it, bag it, cover with a silk cap.(Use a shower cap) Shower, cleanse face with cucumber cleanser (GNC), then apply EMU oil to face and get into bed! I am a day sleeper.

I get up at 5:30 am, since I co wash at night I just take off the scarf, and smooth the edges...I apply oil if needed.. and put the clip back on... I am a protective styler!!!

Depends on the style. I just got a relaxer on Friday, so right now the crown of my hair is in rollers, the rest is wrapped. I try not to unveil until I shower, lotion and have on undergarments. Depending on what I'm wearing, I will put on the shirt/dress/top (if my hair will get messed up if I put it on after I do my hair). Most of the time I will also do my makeup before I take my hair down.

I get up at 530am to be at work at 7am, I unveil my hair remove the 2 braids, oil it with coconut oil and put in a bun and off to work.

I wake up at 645 to be in class by 8. I co-wash and shower nightly its cold in Michigan to walk around with wet hair. I do my hair after getting dressed. I apply my spray bottle moisturizer work my hands through my twa and go

Same here.

I add a little coconut oil and mousse to the sides and smooth with my fingers. I will reposition my bun if need and then I put on a headband to help my edges dry smooth. Thats it. I don't mess with it again until I rinse it back out.

I don't take my scarf/rollers down until I'm finished with everything else (usually in the car). I have a long commute to work and have to get up kinda early, so the hair is last. I keep it protected in my silk scarves until the very end. :drunk:

5:30 AM work out, then I hit the showers and saturate my hair in the water. Sometimes ( about twice a month) I use a little diluted castile. I then oil my scalp with whatever flavor of the day, seal remaining damp hair with coconut oil and slather some on the bod and style my hair. This is why most of my hair pics look nudish. I take pics right out of the shower! LOL!

At night I part my hair down the middle, after any moisturizing and scalp treatments and I pin curl the 2 sections under before tying it down.

In the morning, I untie my hair and take out the pin curls. Sometimes all I need to co is comb out and go. Sometimes, it is too flat, so I use my Caruso setter to spruce things up a bit. I use those 3-4 times a week, if not more.

Sometimes, I need to put something on my ends, usually Aveda USC. I never use that for my base moisturizer before bed, but it is good for last min shine and style boosting, or for finger combing or pre-carusos.

i only have 10 mins to do my hair in the morn. So most of the style is usually made the nite before...and ill just take off the scarf and touch up a lil bit. Believe it or not, but i care more about my outfit than m hair lol

I've been in half-wigs for the last two months so I don't do much.

Putting on my half-wig is the last thing I do before walking out the house. I take off my scarf, add a little moisturizer and oil, attached the wig, finger comb and I'm out.

7 am work out with hair in pincurls or wrapped with out a scarf. shower at 8 30 with a silk scarf and shower cap, keeping it from getting wet. Then I get dressed and sit under the dryer while I eat oatmeal lol (to dry my scalp and hair from the hour and 15 min work out). Take down hair, and out the door at 9 30 for my 10 o clock classes. I work out during the week so on weekends I just take down the scarf and go to work. I moisturize and night and only moisturize in the am if needed, which is rare.

I get up at 7:45, take off my scarf, take my shower, do my face, apply MT to my edges, and roll out at 8:25 so I can be to work at 9.

Those who Co wash at night before going to bed do you apply oils/moisterisers to your hair? Just wondering because you've stated that you apply coconut oil in the morning.

Co washing at night sounds like a good idea, i might have to try it.

2 or 3 nights out of the week, I wash my hair and let it air dry loose. Then I go to bed whether or not its dry....I dont care. If I'm tired I'm tired.

I get up at 6:45 (or supposed to anyway....I'm addicted to the snooze button) The first thing I do is take off my scarf and get in the shower with my hair exposed. This is usually my "prep" for my bun. Its easier to style if I get some steam from the shower in my hair before I bun. Then I moisturize my ends, seal with oil and proceed with styling my sock bun. Thats it!:yep::yep::yep:

Take off my scarf, get in the shower so the steam can hit my hair. Then when I'm done getting dressed I pick a half-wig and put it on and go.

In the AM I undo my braid, separate hair a little bit with my fingers, gather it all and put it in a loose bun. I moisturize and seal my edges and ends at night before bed.

I take my scarf off it depends on how i feel ,
but sometimes i just leave it on for 5 straight days .
wash time again.

Get up, take off my scarf, put on shower cap for the shower, jump out and put my hair in a pony, and tuck in the ends with a hair pin. I wear the SAME style every day lol, and tending to my hair in the am takes all of three minutes because I usually moisturise the night before.
