I did a twist-out, or so I thought... Anyways it turned out to be a frizzy mess I looked so bad at the end of the party, my god this going natural is driving me crazy and I decided not to chop my perms off until my natural hair reaches my neck length..

I just had a leave-in conditioner, but my hair is driving me :wallbash:

The side of my fronts are kinky and dry no matter what, but the rest of hair is wavy kinda oh and the napp (neck hair) is kinky and dry <--- could it be true that I have both textures in messed up places, what should I do with the kinky, I moisture and moisture,,, god

and am meeting this important guy 2morrow, how should I wear my hair... Dang it am pissed with this frizz ball of head...

Anyways yea just showing u my mess and needless to say I just got one number from the club, I do have a man but still no one hit on me coz of my frizz ball

:lachen::lachen::lachen: Don't worry practice makes perfect, my twist outs look better when I do flat twist...

You probably just need a better leave-in for definition and try putting some rollers on the ends so they aren't so straight, that always helps.

It sounds like you need some type of product to give you some hold. Have you tried using a gel or setting lotion on top of your leave in? My hair always falls with just a leave in. I'll have to retwist it every night.

You could also try the Pantene Pro V curl definer when doing twist outs and braid outs. The curl definer is a light weight gel that will define your curl. Also go to Miss Jessie.com and watch their twist out tutorial. You don't have to purchase their products, but you can watch their videos for advice.

I know what look you are going for, i think it can be better achieved by another style, some of us just cant carry off EVERY technique with our hair. For instance my hair is too thick and coarse to do a DECENT twist out. May i suggest that maybe you do a braidout... Its similar to the twists but i think it may give you more of the definition you were looking for.

Your hair turned out nice...but i understand what you mean by it being frizzy. My hair would need to be soaking wet after applying a good DC, then put on a good moisturizer or leave in(nothing heavy like shea butter), then braid it up in cornrows or plaits and let it dry. I think you would like the results better if you did something like this...

Either way a good Deep Conditioning and Leave In will give a less frizzy result. HTH

Thanks a lot for all your tips, I'm trying a cornrow now and will post a pic of the end results, I found that well lets just say I don't know how to twist lol but I agree practice makes perfect also am trying around different conditioners. Thanks ladies :D

I don't know how far post you are, I'm currently at 19 weeks....I agree with Ms Micaela, I tried braid outs and they were good for a day or two but every since I tried twist outs I'm hooked. I don't think braid outs are for me, they just don't look as good as the twists on my hair types.....But don't give up just keep trying different techniques and ways...I can't corn row so I always attributed that to why my braid outs didn't quite pop right, I do my twist outs as flat twists, as a matter of fact I've been rocking this twist out since Thursday and they still look pretty fresh.

Just keep trying different techniques and products, I'm sure you'll get it eventually.
