it 's necessary to trim my hair before starting my hair journey

Hi,
I was wondered if i had to trim my split ends before letting my hair grow ? What's gonna happen if i don't cut it and just take great care. Will the split ends damage the lengths even if i take care of it ?

Yes cut the splits! The only way to repair splits is with scissors. If you don't cut them it will split further up the hair shaft and if that happens you need to cut even more to get rid of the damage.

I agree with cutting the split ends now, not because they will travel up the hair shaft, but because you might as well get rid of them @ the beginning, start fresh and you won't have to worry about trimming off your length later on
