Thanks - Do you use the Professional one???? ( LIke ironing it into your hair, and such)
or do you use the one minute application?
Do you use a heat protectant when you flat iron?
Sorry lots of questions.
OK, I did it yesterday. I washed my hair with Fresh Moisturizing shampoo. I partially blow-dried and sectioned hair into four braids. I saturated each section with the PRO treatment and then used a foil protected flat iron on each section (part, then flat iron, part, then flat iron). I rinsed with avocado conditioner from shescent it.com and blowdried then flat ironed with Redken's heat glide.
The results were a little mixed for me. It did not provide the shine I expected, but it definitely dramactically reduced the shedding that I had begun to experience. Usually after blowdrying and flat ironing, there are little hairs everywhere. After the PRO treatment, no hairs all over the sink and my clothes. I will use it again for that purpose. I have very fine/thin hair so I also noticed it left my hair feeling a little waxed after flat ironing.
Thanks foxxylisa for the suggestion. I am going to try the other conditioner you recommended soon.
You're welcome. It sounds like we used the product differently. When I use the ISH treatment, I don't use any other conditioner with it. I shampoo, put a lil' in as a heat protectant, blowdry, put it in like a perm, flat iron the sections, rinse, add my H2 Ion and Chi Silk Infusion heat protectant, blowdry, flat iron, and wrap my hair. Could the waxed feeling be from the Heat Glide? When I used it before, it made my hair feel greasy. Anywho, I'm glad that you found some use for it.![]()
H2Ion..... Which product is that?
Isn't it the same as the Chi silk infusion? Just wondering.... Thanks Doll...
No, it is something else. Here it is: http://www.h2-ion.com/. It is hella expensive, but I can't live without it.

Hi All,
This is Katy from H2-Ion. I wanted to answer some of the questions in this thread. H2-Ion is a unique, leave-in formula that uses the heat from your hair dryer or other heat styler to activate its strengthening conditioner. The result? H2-Ion’s revitalizing conditioner is sealed into your hair follicles, forming a barrier that prevents harmful substances from getting in. H2-Ion is a damaged hair repair program that provides long-term solutions to split-ends and frizzy hair.
Because $60 does seem like a lot for our product, we offer a free trial of H2-Ion (you pay for shipping). Women with long hair will get one or two uses. If you like it, do nothing and we will ship you a full size bottle for $47.95, 20% off. If you don't love it, call and cancel. The full details are here: http://www.h2-ion.com/order_shipping.html
I am also happy to offer you a coupon for $20 off - use our regular order page, http://www.h2-ion.com/order.html , and enter 20offlonghair in the Coupon Code box under your credit card information.
On a personal note: my roommate has curly hair and goes to the beach a lot. Because of the salt and sun, his ends were like Brillo. He loves H2 Ion and is always pestering me to bring home samples.
Here are the H2-Ion ingredients:
Water, Cetearyl Alcohol, Amodimethicone, Cetyl Alcohol, Propylene Glycol, Stearalkonium Chloride, Dimethicone, Behenyl Trimonium Methosulfate, Amodimethicone, Shea Butter, Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein, Cetrimonium Chloride, Algae Extract, Tetrasodium EDTA, Rosemary Extract, Witch Hazel Extract, Hydroxypropyl Guar, Jojoba Esters, DMDM Hydantoin, Citric Acid, Fragrance. Contains MIM (Moisture Infusing Microbeads).
If you have any questions, or I may assist you in any way, please do not hesitate to email me.
Best,
Katy

That's sounds like a lot of heat. How was your hair when rinsed before you blow dried and flat ironed the second time.
BTW/OT: I thought this was a thread about products that people hated. As in this ish=crap![]()
