Help me out here: Is it possible for your hair to get "used" to certain products/relaxer? I have used silk elements no-lye for the past 4 years and I'm thinking about switching to something else.
i would agree, but when u find something better that u hair responds to better, u will notice a big difference, and vice versa. i used to use whatever no lye relaxer was on sale, and it did a good job but my hair was never the way i really wanted it to be. then i tried dr miracles && my hair was like where has this been all my life! lol so i kept up with that for a little while, then i tried luster pink extra conditioning no lye. that was good my hair was happy...... but then...... oh boy, i tried ORS olive oil no lye. let me tell u...... BEST. RELAXER. YET. (for my next relaxer i will probably try soft sheen dark & lovely) so i think once u try a new relaxer, ur hair will let u know whether or not its better. ive noticed that if u listen to ur hair, it will tell u anything u want to know about it. (try keeping a hair diary)
