This past weekend I was out fall/winter shopping with my mother and realized that my clothing choices were greatly affected by my hair!:yep::yep:

I was leaning more toward softer wools like cashmere blends, and merino rather than straight up wool....I have also been buying more silk blend tops for work!!!!

Am I the only one? Are you guys super aware of your fabrics now?

Maybe its because I plan on straightening more as it gets colder and don't want my ends to be affected.....sooooooo?????

I do something like that, but I match my wigs to my clothes...lol. I'm actually deciding which wig to wear with a black and grey sweater dress now.

I do not think about my hair when I pick out clothes. I think about which necklace I have at home will match that oufit or if I have something at home to match with it.

No, my style is generally the same. Whenever I wore my hair down, people did not recognize me! Or I got the classic, is that all her hair?

I definitely think my hair affects what I wear, but not so much in fabric choice as just pieces period. I guess that's not really original, but I'm always wondering what hair styles will look best with what pieces I have. I should start doing what you do though! It would be very bad to have chewed up ends.

I usually match my clothes with a particular hairstyle that I think best fits me. I use to shop twice a week for clothes that did not aggrevate my my hair or body. Your hair is a part of your appearance and should help determine which pieces of clothing look good with it. For instance, if I am having a bad hair day, I dress down in something less flattering, like yoga pants...

Nope, I just buy what I like and looks good.
I do find that now that Im natural, alot of my old clothes look much nicer on me. I think myhair adds an edge of flare to my look. :D

Yes it has....I stay away from stuff that will damage my hair...I do LOVE wool jackets ..So I still buy those...I dont get to wear them much in So. Cali

I even notice that when I buy dresses...I get dissappointed if it has a low back or cut really cute in the back because the only way you can see that is if I where my hair up...Even my t-shirts designs in the back get covered...

For me it's not about the texture of the clothes cuz I'm always pinned up or in some kind of PS. If I'm going for a look though, the hair must match. Pre LHCF days there was just ONE way to look cute...straight hair at the hair salon. Now, I can do a bun, funky wild twists, twist out up dos, earthy twists etc...haven't done the rollersets, curlformers or spirals yet. Waiting on more length for that....

Boohoo, cry us a freagin' river will ya Traycee!!!

Nosa, it's all luv and I'm right behind ya guuuuuuuuhl...

Since I started my HHJ, yes. Or, if I really like something wool/damaging, I'd make a mental note that I'll have to wear my hair up.

Hmm, this is very interesting. I will have to saw the no, I don't really notice fabrics when I got shopping for clothes. However, once my hair reaches SL and my hair actually touches my clothes (LOL), maybe I will sing a different tune *shrug*

yes I do think of my hair at times when i buy clothes. I lean more towards clothes that are collar-less.

yes not really fabric choices but the style of clothing depends on my hairstyle sometimes. When I wear buns i prefer to wear dressy pants and tops to work or big earrings and bangles with maxi dresses.

i only have thought about hairstyle and clothes style...not fabrics...but that's something good to think about too!

I'd say yes, but in another sense. I'll try on an outfit and I may not like it while my is in a bun or ponytail, so I'll take it down and sometimes that changes everything. :yep:

Yeah, that's why i'm looking for a jacket without that cloth/wool collar.

I do like softer fabrics, my hair catches on some of my pre-LHCF sweaters.
